RNLI Local Support

On Saturday the 27/01/2012 JFE Nissan sponsored Ellie, a WAG from the Torbay lifeboat based at Brixham.

We supplied a support vehicle the Nissan Pathfinder to aid the safe passage of the lifeboat crews WAGS as it pulled the inshore rib lifeboat from Brixham to Torquay which was 12.7 miles.

This was all done for SOS day 2012 to raise money for new life jackets and they are hoping to raise £10000 from this event.

Jonathan Baker a Sales Executive from Exeter gave up his time to drive the vehicle and help throughout the day with anything that was needed.

A fantastic day was had by all and fingers crossed the passersby and all the companies that donated helped them get close to their target amount!
